Warning: Shamelessly personal picture post…
We were blessed to welcome a son-in-law into the fold this weekend:

With the exception of Baby Rar being completely out of his mind through most of the festivities, the wedding went off without a hitch, and that is a gift.
Alex, like Courtney, has 9 siblings. You should have see the all-family photos.
1 couple + baby
6 parents
18 siblings
A handful of nieces and nephews (6?)
We were a sight to see, and a bit of an amusing story problem for the photographers.
A few candids:

Before the big day, Rar had a few Grandma nights while Mama and Papa pulled together a wedding. We had our absolute worst day together, our absolute best day together, and lots of time screaming, reading, and bouncing on the tramp.

At the end of the day, our first kiddo walked down the aisle, and our family made room for a few more souls. I’d say it was a good day.
Oh.

Also.
There’s another grandbaby on the way. Woot Woot!
(According to the parents, this is the root cause of Mr. Rar’s bad attitude. Yikes.)
If you need me, I’ll be making up a visitation schedule, for proper spoilage of the grandchildren. Also, survival of the grandparents.

Wow! That does sound like a wedding like no other, for all the good reasons. It is incredible to me how many weddings I hear of where they don’t want children there — really? A total disconnect from reality.
Congratulations on getting a son-in-law! And a new grandchild to look forward to is the best. Glory to God for your blossoming family.

Thank you! And yes, I don’t quite get the childless weddings either. But I guess I don’t have to! 😊
